Borage is an annual herb that is mainly grown for its edible flowers. The leaves and flowers have a mild, cucumber flavor.
Borage is recommended as a companion plant for tomatoes and strawberries. It attracts pollinators, increasing fruit yield. Sow the seeds in successive plantings to ensure a steady supply of flowers.
