Garua lindheimeri is a native perennial with pink-tinged, white flowers that bloom from early summer to fall. The graceful flowers are reminiscent of butterflies perched on tall stems. They attract hummingbirds and butterflies .
Gaura lindheimeri goes with nearly everything in the garden, including roses , perennials and ornamental grasses .
Gaura self sows, but it's not invasive. It blooms the first year from seed, so it can be grown as an annual. Drought tolerant . Commonly known as Appleblossom Grass or just plain Gaura. Hardy in zones 5-9.
