Gaura lindheimeri

Garua lindheimeri is a native perennial with pink-tinged, white flowers that bloom from early summer to fall. The graceful flowers are reminiscent of butterflies perched on tall stems. They attract  hummingbirds  and  butterflies .

Gaura lindheimeri goes with nearly everything in the garden, including  roses perennials  and  ornamental grasses

Gaura self sows, but it's not invasive. It blooms the  first year  from seed, so it can be grown as an annual.  Drought tolerant . Commonly known as Appleblossom Grass or just plain Gaura. Hardy in zones 5-9.
