Gomphrena 'Strawberry Fields' has orange-red, papery flowers that bloom continuously from mid summer to hard frost. The dark green leaves are attractive. It makes a great  container  plant. 

Also known as globe amaranth or globe everlasting because of the shape of the flowers and their use in dried arrangements.  Drought tolerant .

Sowing Strawberry Fields Gomphrena Seeds

Soak gomphrena seeds in warm water for 4-12 hours. Start indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost date. Sow 1/4" deep. Full sun.
