Lilium regale was the first Chinese trumpet lily introduced to the United States. The plants grow to 3-5' tall with fragrant, trumpet- shaped flowers that are white with a maroon reverse and butter-yellow throats.
Regal lily blooms a little earlier than other trumpet lilies. It's easy to grow in full sun to part shade. It does well in containers. Hardy in zones 4-8.

Sowing Lilium regale Seeds
Start Lilium regale seeds indoors 10 weeks before the last frost date. Sow 1/4" deep. Germination begins in about 4 weeks. Full sun to part shade.
