Nigella hispanica 'Curiosity' has finely cut, blue-green foliage and violet-blue flowers with fascinating, maroon centers. These are followed by ornamental seed pods that are great for dried flower arrangements. It's a terrific cut flower .
Nigella hispanica blooms a little later than Nigella damascena , making it a good filler for the garden in late June and July. It's one of my favorite companion plants for roses . It self-sows nicely.
Also known as Spanish Love-in-a-Mist, Nigella papillosa and Fennel Flower. Deer resistant .
