Start Thunbergia alata seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost date. the seeds overnight, then sow 1/4" deep. Full sun.
Thunbergia alata produces loads of 1-2" yellow-orange flowers with contrasting black eyes. The heart-shaped leaves are also attractive.
Black-Eyed Susan Vine is great for growing on trellises, poles, fences and mailboxes. It's also a good container plant, looking especially nice in hanging baskets and window boxes.
