Digitalis purpurea 'Monstrosa White' has lovely, white flowers with speckles. Each spike is topped with a large, bowl-shaped flower. 

We really enjoyed growing this fascinating flower in the cottage garden. Everyone who saw it said, "What on earth is that?" It was especially fun to photograph. Hardy biennial in zones 4-9.
