Poppy 'Black Swan' has frilly, finely cut petals in a gorgeous shade of dark burgundy that is almost black. 

Papaver somniferum 'Black Swan' is a beautiful addition to the heirloom flower garden. It looks especially nice when contrasted with pink or white poppies, or other flowers in the garden that bloom in pale shades.
