Sow bean seeds outdoors 2 weeks after the last frost date,  1” deep and 3” apart in rows spaced 2-3' apart. Full sun.

Bean 'Calima'

Calima  is a high quality French fillet bean with narrow, round pods. The tender beans have a very sweet flavor. Pick the beans when they are 7-8" long and no thicker than a pencil. Super productive. A good choice for canning and freezing.

Royal Burgundy  is a 6" long, purple-podded snap bean. The color makes it easy to find and harvest in the garden. The beans turn deep green when cooked. It's an excellent choice for fresh eating, canning or freezing. Easy to grow.

Buerre de Rocquencourt  is a delicious wax bean named for the farming town of Rocquencourt in France. This heirloom bean is bright yellow with black seeds. Pick beans when small for best flavor. Easy to see on the bush. Very productive.

Bean Arikara Yellow

Arikara Yellow bean  originally came from the Arikara tribe of North Dakota and was introduced in 1914 by Oscar Will. It has a yellow-tan color with a brown eye. Delicious for baked beans. The plants are productive and drought tolerant.
