Garlic Chives  are tall and upright with wide, flat leaves. They have a strong garlic flavor, and they are useful in organic gardens. They repel aphids, and the flowers attract bees,  butterflies  and  beneficial insects

Allium tuberosum is a good companion plant for roses. The starry white flowers look lovely, and the plants deter pests. Easy to grow. Hardy in zones 3-9.
